Dashair Lake is a high altitude lake located near the Rohtang Pass that connects Kullu
district with Lahaul in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is also known by
several other names Dashir, Sarkund and Sheela Sar. It is believed that all the
diseases of skin are cured if one takes bath in this lake during mid-August and
September and hence people visit to take a holy bath generally during festive season.

Animal species: Himalayan Brown Bear, Indian Fox, Common Indian Langur,
Porcupine, Wolf, Musk Deer, Red Fox, etc.
